Voted Best Credit Union in Washington State

2024 has been a banner year for us, and it keeps getting better! We are proud to announce that O Bee Credit Union has been awarded the following honors:

Best in the PNW by The Seattle Times;
Best in the South Sound 2024 by The Olympian; and
Best of 2024 by Showcase Magazine – for the fifth year in a row!

These awards continue our long-standing tradition of excellence. In 2023, the Seattle Times named O Bee the Best Credit Union in the PNW, and Forbes previously recognized us as the Best Credit Union in Washington State.

These awards hold special significance as they are a true "people's choice." Our neighbors, community, and Members have consistently voted for us year after year. This recognition highlights the strong relationships we have developed in the community and the region.

Improving the lives of our Members through financial well-being is at the heart of everything we do. From our beginnings on the floor of Olympia Brewing’s Bottlehouse A to now serving nearly 35,000 Members across Washington, we have put people at the center of our work for nearly 70 years. O Bee Credit Union is the original credit union of the Olympia Brewery. It was started on February 15, 1955, by Ted McGill, who worked in the bottle house of the brewery. It is a full-service, not-for-profit credit union owned by its Members, with seven branches in Lacey, Tumwater, Tenino, Yelm, West Olympia, Point Ruston, and Fern Hill. Membership is open to all Washington residents.
