Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated Pillsbury™ Crescent Rolls (8 Count) or Crescent Dough Sheet
|
- 2 1/2 slices American cheese (quartered lengthwise)
|
|
|
- Mustard, ketchup and other condiments if desired.
|
|
Directions:
- Heat oven to 375°F.
- Unroll dough and separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles of dough.
- Press perforations on each slice to make a smooth seal.
- Using a kitchen knife, slice each dough rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces.
- Slice the cheese slices into quarters, lengthwise
- Lay hot dog on cheese and wrap 4 pieces of dough around each hot dog-cheese combo to look like "bandages," stretching dough slightly to cover the hot dog.
- At one end, separate the "bandages" so hot dog shows through for "face."
- On a large, ungreased cookie sheet, place wrapped hot dogs (cheese side down); spray dough lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot. With mustard, draw features on "face."
Thanks to our friends at Pillsbury for this fun idea.
