There’s nothing lovelier than springtime at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. Whether you’re an expert gardener, a budding plant lover or just enjoy smelling the roses, the Point Defiance Flower & Garden Festival is the perfect place to find garden inspiration.

A variety of free and ticketed experiences combine to make the Point Defiance Flower & Garden Festival the South Sound’s premier gardening event. Join us in Tacoma's Point Defiance Park on June 7 & 8 for shopping, food, and fun.

Yelm Prairie Days

Come join the fun at Yelm Prairie Days! Yelm Prairie Days is an annual summer event that brings the community together for free family fun. The Chamber of Commerce presents a parade down Yelm Avenue. Then the fun continues at Yelm City Park with lots of activities sponsored by local community organizations. Kids of all ages can also enjoy the splash pad and playground equipment or just spread out on the grass. After the parade, make sure to stop by the O Bee booth to spin the wheel and win giveaways! This event is free and fun for all!

The Berenstain Bears Visit the Zoo

Bring your kids to meet the beloved bear duo, who will be handing out bookmarks and fun gifts while supplies last. O Bee team members will also be on site to answer your questions about our Berenstain Bear Cub Accounts—a great way to help your little ones start learning about money early. It’s a fun, family-friendly event you won’t want to miss!

Clean-up, Drop-off

O Bee is proud to partner with the City of Tumwater for their annual disposal event: Clean-up, Drop-off.  

LeMay Mobile Shredding, sponsored by O Bee, will be on site to help you get rid of old, sensitive documents safely and securely.

Additional community partners will be there to help you safely discard expired prescription medications; and to donate non-perishable food and personal hygiene items.
